Insecurities, Intolerance and Intransigeance. Welcome to the GOP.

Mr. and Mrs. Wuss
Mr and Mrs Wuss
Insecurities

I want you to take a good look at this picture. This is your speaker. Does this person make you proud, or want to scream in frustration? Is this the face of someone you want to represent you? Someone who looks healthy? Strong? Vibrant? Self-Confident? It is not for me. One look at the body language of these two and all I think of is, insecurity issues compounded by a partner with co-dependent ones. It does not take a psychology degree to see that something is wrong. Just looking at this makes me cringe and feel embarrassed for our party. Why would representatives be afraid of someone as listless and pathetic as John Boehner?

Voters, we all should be very angry, not sad. John Boehner answers to Obama. He does not answer to us. He hates us.  He is afraid of Obama's shadow, but has much bravado for his base. It is lamentable, despicable and unacceptable that he continue to do his job which has put us in a precarious and very weak situation.  John Boehner was losing support for his speakership and had to resort to bribing representatives with favors in exchange for votes to retain his position. Is that who you want for Speaker?  Why reward him for failing us? No, we do not have to deal with him. We must defy our party for the sake of the party and the country's survival.

John Boehner must be pressured to RESIGN!

Just a few days ago, at the Inaugural speech, Obama suggested "to the people" that Congress wasn't needed to pass an agenda on their behalf.  He had also expressed through a spokesman, that his goal was to destroy the Republican party.  Boehner has openly admitted to it.

The picture of Mr. and Mrs. Wuss is not a joke. I am not doing this to poke fun at him or his marriage, but to make a point. Are we going to enable and reward the heart and actions of a feeble man? Are we going to embrace his sense of hopelessness and self-pity? Or are we are going to bring the party back to life with tough love and common sense measures.

This is a crisis of leadership that must be dealt with in a mature and serious manner by mature and serious people. Boehner's character flaws and style of leadership have produced positive results for our President's policies, not ours. That is why Obama loves him.  Let's take a hard look in the mirror and ask ourselves how much longer will it take to intervene and remove him? He is clearly not fit to lead.
Intransigeance
Marco Rubio's so-called "Rising Star"

Remember this line in the movie "City Hall"?  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGXvj2BjZLA

Even if his supporters don't like it, too much is at stake to be protective and in denial about Marco Rubio. He has been convinced that he is the "rising star" of the Republican Party. This expression makes me sick. He is not a rising star, he is a useful idiot.  He carrying water for a the loser with the agenda that our party doesn't want, an agenda that is being shoved down our throats that doesn't win votes.

I am not seeking to single out, mock or trash Senator Rubio.  I still like even love him because he is a fellow Cuban-American, but I know that his greatest weakness is his blind ambition, and it is being exploited by both the left and right on our side who continue to think, in all their self-unawareness, that they (via him) will have a winning message for 2016. It is beyond frustrating to witness.

Immigration Reform is not the answer to our problems. Hispanics do not vote on Immigration. It is a myth that needs to be dispelled.  Charismatic leaders with a winning Conservative message are. It is such a weak case, that he had to use the following sources to prove he has support:

1. Representative Paul Ryan: “Senator Rubio Is Exactly Right On The Need To Fix Our Broken Immigration System. I Support The Principles He’s Outlined

2. James Pethokoukis from American Enterprise Institute: “But The Rubio Plan Is A Thoughtful, Solid Start, And I Look Forward To Hearing More Details, Including The Parts Concerning Legal Immigration, High-Skill And Otherwise.”

3. Grover Norquist Of The Americans For Tax Reform Told Right Turn It Was ‘A Good Step In The Right Direction.

4. American Conservative Union’s Al Cardenas: “Kudos to @MarcoRubio for leading on immigration reform w/ conservative principles. Now the hard work begins. Don’t let libs get ahead."
Remember Al Cardenas? He was the one pushing for Jeb Bush to be drafted at last year's CPAC.

5.  Sean Hannity and Bill OReilly's comments were taken out of context to show "support".

I have a question for Marco: why not ask the humble opinion of those who voted for you what we think?
Intolerance
The Republican "Insecurity" Council

I do not want to see the party split, but we are dealing with a GOP who has a mentality that it can do no wrong.  They are dense, self-unaware and intolerant of opposing views. Try posting this on the Republican Security Council's wall:

"GOP and BUSH Inc. IS AGAINST We-the-PEOPLE. Enough of the touchy-feely Bushy wishy washy RINO-ey distractions. Get With the PROGRAM! It's not about personality, it's about MESSAGE and the Message has not been delivered ~ conservative principles, not "reform conservatism" or "compassionate conservatism" or "immigration reform". None of those terms are in the Constitution or Bill of Rights. We need GOP Reform! Wake UP GOP Voters! Your party is against you."

How insecure!  The truth is, your GOP is a Bush, Inc. Enterprise (41, 43 and 45 coming soon). It is against We-the-People. It has not listened to us for 25 years. It's time to mercilessly let them know it will not be tolerated.

I shall end this rant and activist commentary with this question: Do you want to be the cowardly party of WUSS or the proud party of DEFY? It's up to you. I know who leads me.  I feel his spirit in me, and I challenge myself to overcome fear every day. We must speak up. We must have each others' backs. We are in the belly of the beast already so why not confront our fears and the enemy?  Self-preserve.  Stay healty.  Take your time.  But don't relent.  Defy to the end.

I TOLD YA SO!

rubio handshake
As much as I would like to reclaim our party and ask the elite to take a hike, I have to admit on days like this, I just want to throw my hands up in the air and quit. They will never change! But I won't. That is what they want me to do.. feel discouraged and left out. We have seen this play itself out year after year, but this IS OUR Party, and I am not going away!

So the GOP is not interested in our input. What's new? Everything has always been mapped out for us anyway, so instead of giving up, why not use their predictable ways to our favor? Surely we can beat them this time. I think it is revealing (and unflattering!) that the GOP has had to resort to this kind of early promotion and campaigning. It only affirms how strong and effective the Conservative base has been. Consider this a good sign to not feel defeated.

Here is the youtube clip of Marco Rubio's appearance last night on The O'Reilly Factor. Notice how Mr. OReilly is not really pressingMr. Rubio very hard on the issues he disagrees with him on. [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRC58rmoPOY]

It is undeniable that Marco Rubio is part of the next in line for the presidential race in 2016, second to Jeb Bush, of course, his mentor, who is at the top of the GOP heirarchy. As early as two days following the election, I found out that Jeb Bush had a book coming out on Immigration Reform.

This appearance is a natural way to start getting some buzz out there on the subject. The term "Immigration Reform" probably came from the same genius consultants who brought us "Compassionate Conservatism" for Bush 43's campaign, and "Reform Conservatism" at this same time last year during CPAC.

Immigration Reform is code for Amnesty. The left knows this, and it knows it is a losing strategy for Republicans because it divides us. That is why they are beginning to use Marco Rubio as the new GOP useful idiot, just like McCain was in 08, and Romney in 12. See the pattern? If we are to REFORM and take back our party back, we must address how issues like this are used by the left to divide us.

It's not about whether immigration reform works or not (it does not). It's about whether it is the message we want to represent our party. And it is not. Like I said in my video clip in December, our party leaders have hijacked our message to push an agenda we do not identify with.

Let's push back and push back hard! Rubio's personal blind ambition is a target for exploitation. Please read how the elite The New York Times now writes about him in a favorable way. It was shared by a personal friend and special colleague who has witnessed my gradual disillusion with Rubio and the realization over time of who he really is.

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/clay-waters/2013/01/16/strange-new-respect-nytimes-gop-pro-immigration-reformer-sen-marco-rubi

Marco Rubio would sell us down the river because of blind personal ambition and that he would sell his soul to the devil for personal power, opponents down here in Miami say. I've also heard he came from modest means, and is proud of having overcome that, which I do give him some credit for. But what I see right now is someone all too eager to please those who helped him get to where "he has arrived". The fact is, he should not be beholden to his mentor (which he is), but to us.

Pandering to Hispanics hurts the party. Now what? I will share with you that I have asked his campaign manager from 2010 to appear in our group to answer questions. I hope to have the opportunity to confront him, and to express my concerns, including my disappointment and convictions that what he is doing is wrong. Wrong for the party. I wish he wasn't, but he is part of the Establishment problem in our party and not the solution. Like I said in the video, Hispanics DON'T VOTE on Immigration! He does not speak for all Hispanics on this, specifically, he does not speak for me.

I will not take up more of your time. There is not much more to say. GOP Voters, I TOLD YA SO in December in this clip (just go to 2:18-4:43).[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzcOEwa7Dts]

Colin Powell Should Exit the Party if He Does Not Like It!

Colin Powell was doing his rounds on Sunday talk shows insinuating how the Republican Party is intolerant. He used as an example a phrase by Sarah Palin to make his point: "When I see a former governor say that the president is shuckin’ and jivin’, that’s a racial era slave term." Not only does this prove he is out of touch, but ignorant as well because this has been explained at length by her and her brother.

I don't want to make the article about his comments today, though. What I want to reveal is the true character of Colin Powell ~ that his actions are guided by what he gains by them personally it reveals the true character of Colin Powell. He does things for personal gain and not selfless patriotism. He is perfectly comfortable not telling the truth, and his comments and actions, both recent and past, should be known by all. So-called Republicans like him do not help our cause, and are convenient tools our opponents use to further divide us.

I know our party is the party of the Right Message.. a message which is NOT racist, intolerant or extreme. Colin Powell is wrong. Unlike others who want to see him continue making a fool of himself, I would rather he find the nearest EXIT door and start his own "C" (for Cocktail) Party if he does not like ours. We do not need or want him!

The following personal account of what Colin Powell did during the My Lai Massacre incident in VietNam is written by a friend who shared it in my group yesterday.

By Carl Irwin

Everyone has heard about the My Lai Massacre that took place in Vietnam, I know a lot about that incident because I was in that unit, not the infantry company that did the killing but the infantry battalion they belonged to. I am not going to go into what happened or what caused it to happen but the aftermath.

A high ranking officer in our unit withheld letters from soldiers telling about what happened and also lied to reporters and military investigators about what happened, and that officer was Captain Colin Powell, and he was rewarded very well for his loyalty. Look at his back ground, there is nothing there that ever qualified the man for the high positions he was later given. The guy will do or say anything to promote Colin Powell and will stab anyone or group in the back if thats what it takes.

This is a picture of our firebase which was only about 5 miles from My Lai. At the top right of the picture is the village of Tu Mai, which is a refugee camp we set up. Any people outside of that camp were considered enemy and were fired upon. The firebase you are looking at was hit every single day with anywhere from 5 to 30 motor and rocket rounds. The only way in and out of the base was by air, for most of its existence the NVA had the base cut off from roads leading into it.
The description of the picture is by Carl Irwin. The article below is about the My Lai Massacre incident, in which Captain Colin Powell's decision to lie about it supports Carl's first hand accont shared here yesterday.

TWELVE CONGRESSMEN WHO DESERVE OUR THANKS AND RECOGNITION
Justin Amash
Justin AMASH, Representative from Michigan, 3rd District

Representative Amash was a Member of the House Budget Committee with a 100% FreedomWorks Lifetime Rating. He was one of the four fiscal conservatives purged by John Boehner on December 3rd. He posted on his Facebook wall recently that he was proud to vote for Congressman Raul R. Labrador (who abstained from voting for Speaker of the House of Representatives), citing that Raúl would defend liberty and work honestly with Democrats on debt reduction. "We must act now for the sake of our next generation." He gets it. It's about Sacrifice.

Here are his Facebook and Twitter links (I have already thanked him): https://www.facebook.com/repjustinamash?ref=ts&fref=ts&req=2v http://twitter.com/repjustinamash
Jim Bridenstein
Jim BRIDENSTEIN, Representative from Tulsa, Oklahoma, 1st District

Jim Bridenstine said he voted against speaker John Boehner and for Eric Cantor because he believed the party needed new leaders.

Lieutenant Commander Jim Bridenstine was recently sworn in as a new member of the 113th Congress. He is a veteran combat pilot who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He promised when he ran his campaign that he would stand-up to the Washington elite, and he did on January 3rd! That is to be admired.. a politician who keeps their word!

Paul Broun
Paul BROUN, Representative of Georgia, 10th District

Representative Broun has been a member of Congress since 2007. He recently voted against the Fiscal Cliff Deal, citing: "We need a dramatic new direction if we hope to ever get our fiscal house in order." He was the only one out of the Georgia house members who not only voted against the fiscal deal, but Boehner as well.

If you are an Allen West fan, you will also be pleased to know that Paul Broun voted for former Rep. Allen West for Speaker. Broun explained: “After careful consideration, I opted to cast my vote for a new Speaker of the House... but under his leadership, this Congress has failed to address the root of our nation’s fiscal crisis — the out-of-control spending in Washington." Broun is serious about cutting spending and restoring prosperity to our economy and the American people.

Please like and share his Facebook page if you agree: https://www.facebook.com/brounforcongress?fref=ts
Louis GOhmert Close-up
Louis GOHMERT, Representative of Texas, 1st District

Congressman Gohmert is serving his fourth term in the United States House of Representatives. He was first sworn in on January 4, 2005. Everything you need to know regarding his vote against Speaker Boehner is in my previous post. He goes on record saying that John Boehner probably won votes at the last minute by bribing politicians who were on the fence with special favors and committee appointments or bills to be looked at.

"We don’t do earmarks anymore. That use to be the way you would get people on board." It is admirable to see such honesty and courage amidst so much corruption and spinelessness. Oh, did I forget? Louis Gohmert vote for ALLEN WEST for Speaker. Rep GOHMERT rocks!

Congressman Huelskamp
Tim HUELSKAMP, Representative of Kansas, "the Big First" District

Congressman Huelskamp has served in Congress since 2010, and was one of the four purged by Speaker Boehner on December 3rd. Representative Huelskamp voted for Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan for Speaker on January 3rd, and plans to continue his battle against House leaders, citing "After two years of establishment leadership, I believed it was time for someone who would fight for our conservative principles."

He added, "voting against a sitting speaker of the House was a great risk. They will punish me. They will attack my family. But America is too important to be lost to overspending, high taxes, and big government. I refuse to stand by and allow our country to be destroyed." What country are we living in? This reminds me of Fidelian-style tactics of political persecution! I am not exaggerating.

Contact information: http://huelskamp.house.gov https://www.facebook.com/congressmanhuelskamp.

He is serving on two committees which he would like for you to "like" to get updates on: House Committee on Small Business and House Committee on Veterans' Affairs. Please LIKE these pages so you can stay-up-to-date on the latest activity of each and to show him your support, of course. I already did.
Walter Jones
Walter JONES, Representative of North Carolina, 3rd District
Walter Jones voted against the Fiscal Cliff Deal, saying: "Last night I voted against the fiscal cliff deal that passed both the House and Senate ... It is well passed time that Washington puts our nation's fiscal house in order and this bill simply fell short." Needless to say, what he did was heroic considering he was also one of the four fiscal conservatives purged from the House Financial Services Committee by John Boehner, who punishes Representatives for doing their job!
This is interesting: Congressman Walter B. Jones voted to replace current Speaker of the House John Boehner with David Walker, President Ronald Reagan’s Assistant Secretary of Labor, and Comptroller General of the United States and head of the Government Accountability Office (GAO).
You will see this comment on his facebook page: “America cannot afford to continue down the path we’re on. The debt is strangling this nation. Speaker Boehner has done the best he could, but this House of Representatives was elected to stop the spending, and time and again, opportunities have been missed."
A big Kudos to Walker who has dedicated his life to actually walking the walk and not just talking. So easy, and yet, so difficult for the rest to understand.
His Facebook Page is https://www.facebook.com/pages/Walter-Jones/15083070102?ref=ts&fref=ts&__req=2x#!/pages/Walter-Jones/15083070102?fref=ts

These six representatives did WHAT was right. They are probably not seeking approval or pats on the back because they have a moral compass that guides their decisions. It would still be nice to let them know we are aware of their sacrifice. The fact that they will face challenges and adversity because they chose to do what is right is CRIMINAL! Remember, the GOP and John Boehner are against We-the-People, so anyone representing our interests will be punished. Shame on OUR Speaker who does NOT stand up or speak for us, and SHAME on all who voted for John Boehner's renewal! There is no excuse for having done so.
Thomas Massie
Thomas MASSIE, Representative of Kentucky, 4th District
Representative Massie speaks his mind without political strings attached. His portfolio includes a Bachelor and Master of Science in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, both respectively from MIT, 24 patents, and the endorsements of FreedomWorks, Young Americans for Liberty, and the official Tea Party of Kentucky. He has campaigned on behalf of Rand Paul, Senator from Kentucky, which I will not hold against him on this day. He voted for Lipinski instead of Boehner, so he gets my Kudos!
His Contact Me Page is https://massie.house.gov/contact-me and Facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/#!/RepThomasMassie?fref=ts
Steve_Pearce,_Official_Portrait,_112th_Congress
Steve PEARCE, Representative of New Mexico, 2nd District
He served in the Vietnam War as a C-130 pilot in the United States Air Force
Congressman Pearce explains why he voted for Eric Cantor for Speaker and not John Boehner in this 1:41 clip. He wants to change directions, in a nutshell.
[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rn0ztsRBXoI&feature=youtu.be]
ted yoho
Ted Yoho, Representative of (North Central) Florida, 3rd District
Congressman Yoho is from Florida. He was sworn in this January 2013. He was endorsed by Sarah Palin, so he has a special status in my book, and a high calling. Here is his statement in an interview with a CNN "Journalist", Erin Burnett. RIGHT ON, Mr. Yoho! Thank you for your voting FOR and not AGAINST the People!
Steve_Stockman_official_portrait
Steven Ernest STOCKMAN, Representative of Texas, 36th District
"Steve" Stockman was just sworn in as U.S. Representative for Texas's 36th district. He previously served for Texas's 9th district from 1995-97. Congressman Stockman voted PRESENT on January 3rd. This was his statement prior to the vote: “I will not vote for or support Congressman Boehner’s bid to remain Speaker of the House. This is not something I do lightly, but out of bedrock conservative principle and a dire need to save this nation from its current course. We cannot tolerate betrayal of conservative principle and economic reality." He kept his word and should be commended for it!
Now the best part: "I have sharp disagreements with the manner in which he has handled President Obama and House conservatives. While he is all too eager to favorably negotiate with a liberal White House that has outmaneuvered him at every turn, he has been harsh and punitive in dealing with conservatives." Is there more you can ask of a true Republican? I don't think so! This Congressman is telling the truth.
Labrador 1
Abstained: Raúl Rafael LABRADOR, Representative of Idaho, 1st District

Representative Labrador won an upset victory in the Republican primary in November, defeating Vaughn Ward, DC's GOP establishment candidate of choice. Congressman Labrador wrote an article on how big business loves big government. In it he writes:

"As a conservative, I believe in small government and in the individual. I did not become a conservative to defend the rich. I became a conservative because I believe that my party has a message that resonates with the American people."  I love it! What can I add except a slogan that comes to mind: small business loves small government! Thank you, Sir! You are doing awesome work on our behalf! By the way, Justin Amash voted for him instead of John Boehner.

Mick MULVANEY
Mick MULVANEY, Representative of South Carolina, 5th District

Congressman Mulvaney won his first election in 2010 serving the 16th District of South Carolina. He has recently been sworn in to represent the 5th District.

I thought I was satisfied with everyone so far, I may have left the best for last. This Congressman did what I was hoping everyone else would do: Abstain, but I cannot ask for more from the rest who also voted their conscious (at least they have one!). Here is a highlight from his official Congressional page: "Mulvaney Returns More Than $160K, Requests Speaker Boehner Pay Down National Debt!" He is approachable as evidenced by the comments on his wall. Like Justin Amash he also posts all his votes on his pages, for everyon to see. That is called transparency and accountability. It is just right. I wish the rest would understand that. Please take the time to thank him if you can. I just did.

John Boehner Was Losing and Won By Bribing Representatives With Favors! Now That Is Wrong!
louis gohmert and michele bachmann
This is outrageous. After my previous post, I learned that Michele Bachmann was not talking to reporters about her vote to renew John Boehner's speakership at the last minute.  It might have been because she was embarrassed, or was hiding something. Well, now we may know why! John Boehner was losing support and about to lose his Speakership, but just like ObamaCare was passed with bribes, Speaker Boehner used similar tactics to convince the few needed to vote for him by rewarding them with favors, favors including being made part of certain committees, or giving certain bills a chance to be looked at in committees.

According to Congressman Louis Gohmert, "We don’t do earmarks anymore. That use to be the way you would get people on board."

Thankfully, Congressman Louis Gohmert shared what he knew about this vote in an interview with Larry O'Connor of Breitbart News. See the link below.

<a href="http://assets.newsinc.com/players/single_embed/20121205/single.htm?WID=2015&amp;VID=24150566&amp;freewheel=69016&amp;sitesection=breitbartprivate"><img src="http://thespeechatimeforchoosing.files.wordpress.com/2013/01/gohnert.jpg" alt="gohnert" width="326" height="322" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-9798" /></a>

Now, GOP Voters, I am addressing this to you. You need to tell your representative that for now, the State's concerns can come second to the nation's, and that you are willing to SACRIFICE a bill or two if the country's needs are not being met. Replacing John Boehner would have been a start in the right direction, but yet another opportunity has been wasted. Please tell them to stop using the state as an excuse for doing the WRONG THING!

The following twelve representatives did not play Boehner's dirty game. They deserve our praise and recognition. They will probably be outcasts now in DC.

Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) Rep. Jim Bridenstine (R-OK) Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA) Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-KS) Rep. Walter Jones (R-NC) Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) Rep. Steve Pearce (R-NM) Rep. Ted Yoho (R-FL) Voted Present: Rep. Stockman (R-TX) Abstained: Rep. Labrador (R-ID) Rep. Mulvaney (R-SC).

It's Time to APOLOGIZE to the TEA PARTY!

I will start by admitting I am very upset at the GOP and its so-called leaders, but I am equally upset at the Voters in our Party!

If you are a GOP Voter and are still making excuses for these two GOP leaders, then we will never begin to reform the Republican Party. Your GOP is working against you day in, and day out, and all I have to ask you is, What are you going to do about it?

Being in denial about what is going on does not help anyone. And if you're not in denial and are afraid to talk about it, that is even worse. Choosing to remain silent about a problem has far worse consequences than speaking up and attempting to correct it. You get the party that you choose to have!

First, I really want to DEMAND an apology from MITT ROMNEY. I know it is late, and we will probably never get one, but he should apologize for wasting our time, our treasure and our attention on his failed candidacy which we predicted would happen, and yet are forced to accept.

I do not buy for one minute what his son, Tagg, said about him not wanting to run.  If it is true, that troubles me because he would have to be extremely dishonest and showing great disregard for all voters and the process overall.  If it isn't true, then it is even more pathetic because leaders do not make excuses for their failures. They take responsibility for them.

When people do wrong by others, they should not be parading themselves around as if life is
wonderful. It is not! I am tired of selfish politicking. Who is sacrificing, may I ask?! Not him!

ROMNEY ran against us in this last election. He started campaigning against us in 2007 by having his advisor, Kevin Madden, trash our leader by spreading a false charge that she was inexperienced.

Can we be honest?  This election was never about the GOP against Obama, but about the GOP
against us, We-the-People, who Sarah Palin represents.  Until you, GOP voters, Wake UP and admit this, we will never be able to focus on our "other" enemy.  It's no longer about the D's v. the R's! We must deal with the reality of who is undermining us, the GOP, who is supposed to be On Our Side, but is not.

The second person I would like an apology from is Dr. MICHELE BACHMANN.

I want to let it be known that Michele Bachmann will forever be known as the BACKSTABBER who always looks out for number one. She may have others fooled, but not me. Theory is one thing, and  applied knowledge is another. And loyalty in politics is NUMBER ONE. Just because what you do looks good on paper and you have good ideas, does not make you effective. It is unfortunate because she happens to have foreign policy that I agree with, but because she chooses to "fit in" instead of stand on principle, she loses my respect.  In any case, she is not only ineffective in D.C., but an ineffective Tea Party advocate who is unloyal to the cause she pretends to defend and its leader.

She took the Tea Party cause to start a caucus to further her career while inside Washington early on, and did very little more about it following that.  She then used her Sarah Palin's support and high profile to promote herself by raising much needed funds and publicity for her campaign, only to have staffers badmouth her in Iowa when she was running for President, thanks to the attention she enjoyed because of Sarah Palin in the first place.

Michele Bachmann leaves after a terrible primary, penniless and with no support from either the GOP or the Tea Party, manages to bounce back from the fall, only to disappoint all over again.

When will politicians learn? It never ceases to amaze me! Do they disappoint me? Yes. Does this surprise me?  Not at all.

The few ~ too few who took a risk prove that there is a problem in Washington. These representatives are to be respected for having voted this way, are probably going to be considered outcasts now, but at least we have a few good men deserve our praise and recognition.  I know I will extend my thanks to each one today.
